After 43 years, Sweethaven Computers becomes Sweethaven Managed IT Services for Business & Education. Well-established pillar of the Reigate and Surrey business community, Sweethaven Computers are eagerly embracing their latest transition, moving away from retail to become a dedicated Managed IT Service Provider for Business & Education.
What started as a local newsagent in 1977 before evolving into an award-winning computer specialist and mainstay of the local business community, Sweethaven is in the throes of the next exciting development of their progressive journey. Currently undergoing redevelopment - anticipated to be ready at the end of November - their existing premises on Trehaven Parade will be transformed into fresh, modern offices to allow for their continued dedication to their growing business and education bases.
This dynamic move follows a decade of organic growth in providing IT support to a wealth of clients - including schools, businesses and, most recently, a close collaboration with the Department for Education to support the roll-out of digital platforms which enable remote teaching and learning nationwide.

This decision represents a significant shift for Sweethaven. Founded in 1977, Sweethaven began life as a newsagent, progressing to a chain of 3 computer departments, before transitioning the business to dedicated IT retail in 2006, subsequently introducing business and education support.
Over the last four decades, the company has become renowned as the one-stop-shop for the full range of technology solutions; from home-tech to enterprise IT networks and educational support. As a pillar to the local community of Reigate and the surrounding areas, Sweethaven reassures retail customers that they will not be left behind during this transition. All-new retail supplier, DLG Computers has now been opened in Salfords to cater for local IT retail requirements, headed up by Darren Reynolds, established retail manager formerly of Sweethaven, who is committed to continuing the excellent service that Sweethaven is renowned for.
