Sweethaven's New Offices

New Office = New Tech.

We’ve recently updated the Sweethaven office with new colours, tech and office kit. It’s looking fresh and inviting - as well as being very well kitted out!

We’ve set in place new cabling and switch infrastructure, and have added multiple displays and screens throughout the main office. We’ve also installed 7 x 32'' HD Ready HDR LED  screens for displaying our live statistical information throughout the day for our technical support and commercial team. In addition, we’ve added a SMART board 7000 series 75” screen in the education break-out area, and a HDR 4K Ultra HD  55” screen into the business support break-out meeting area.

All 9 screens are controlled by 2 PC’s located and both have Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Graphic Cards. The PC has been connected to a HDMI matrix (HDMI Matrix Switcher 8 in & 8 out 4K) located in the server cabinet. The HDMI matrix connects to a HDMI to Ethernet converter which allows us to use the buildings existing cabling to run the screens instead of running dedicated individual HDMI cables. This means that all of our 9 screens can display individual images or we can have them all displaying the same image depending on the requirements at the time.

Our desks have 2 x 24inch iiyama Pro Lite Full HD Ultra Slim monitors mounted on 10 x fixed functional & 10 x dual gas spring arm desk mount monitor arms with built-in cable management. We also have a single dock on the desk which connects the screens, wireless mouse and keyboard, ethernet and power to the laptops, all via one (Thunderbolt) cable for the cleanest solution.
