Tell us a bit about Fiona Barratt Interiors and your development plans
Fiona Barratt-Campbell envisioned a studio dedicated to creative relationships with clients and productive collaborations with artisans and artists. This distinguishes Fiona Barratt Interiors as an interdisciplinary interior design studio, a detailed, comprehensive service approach, celebrated for transparency and excellence.
At the studio’s heart is the passion for style and creativity, combining quality and functionality with an understanding of the many facets of a space. The Studio’s philosophy is the exploration of aesthetics; fluid and elegant spaces are born with an understanding of the aspirations of the client, the relevance of the location and maximisation of the elements of the space. These are developed with imagination, vision and alchemy. The result of this attention to detail is an interior that tells a story, and most importantly, an interior that evokes an emotion.
In 2013 Fiona launched FBC London, our furniture brand. More recently, adding bespoke kitchens to this brand. Again, as with the interiors, the main focus is texture; for example, high-gloss veneer, cast bronze, sand-blasted woods, brass, and copper, as well as many textured metal patinas.
Looking to the future, expansion in both the USA and Asia will be explored over the next five years with a mission and vision to become an aspiration for the international elite. In residential and hospitality, through an unsurpassable service and an understanding of the ultimate balance between timeless luxury and intelligent design Fiona Barratt Interiors will become a globally recognised brand.
What prompted you to look for a managed service provider? What specific areas of IT were you finding challenging?
Having experienced accelerated growth, we needed a trusted IT provider that would supply us with a stable and scalable company infrastructure and work in partnership with us to advise on best next steps. The brief was to provide a full network and IT Solutions and provide IT Support to all sites including our Head Office in Victoria.
We ultimately just wanted our IT to work so that we could excel in a fast-paced industry. In particular, we were finding it difficult to provide our team with the day to day IT queries they had, whilst performing our own role functions.
