Sweethaven is shortlisted for prestigious Toast of Surrey apprenticeship scheme award
Surrey has shortlisted Sweethaven as a finalist for the Toast of Surrey award for “Apprenticeship Scheme of the Year”.
The Toast of Surrey Business Awards showcase the strengths of the Surrey business community. The Apprenticeship Scheme of the Year Award looks to recognise those companies that have best supported development and growth of upcoming talent via training, hands-on learning and experience.
Mark Fuller, Sales Manager at Sweethaven, has played a key role in the expansion of Sweethaven’s apprenticeship schemes: “Sweethaven has been proud to support the development of rising talent since the introduction of the Government apprenticeship scheme approximately 5 years ago.
The Sweethaven business has evolved tremendously over the years and continues to grow. This has afforded a fantastic opportunity to take on an increasing number of apprentices every year and to provide the chance for our people to really grow and develop their careers in alignment with their strengths and passions as the business itself advances.”
Mark Miseldine, Surrey Advertiser group deputy editor visited on Tuesday 22nd March for what was remarked upon as an “informative and impressive meeting” with Sweethaven, to gain a better feel for the apprenticeship structure currently in place.
Filming for the awards will take place on Thursday 24th March and the final results will be announced at the Toast of Surrey Gala Dinner & Awards, on Thursday 28th April 2016.
